Sunset Transportation was established in 1976, specifically to transport trade show exhibition material and display-related products. Focused solely on this market, we have effectively geared our operation to provide a service that is incomparable to any other carrier in the industry. Following deregulation of the trucking industry in 1980, Sunset Transportation was one of the first companies to apply for and receive its own 48-state permanent ICC authority .

The major requirements that all exhibitors look for in a carrier are simple: punctuality, damage-free transport, and reasonable costs. Not only do we meet these criteria, we exceed them by far. By using only the best equipment and hiring only the most committed drivers and consultants, we feel we are able to offer a level of service unmatched by any other company.

The Sunset team is meticulous in working to meet the unique needs of our clients' companies. Long before we pick up a shipment to well after the job is complete, we are in touch with our customers to ensure that nothing has been overlooked. A team is assigned to each account, consisting of a logistics planner, an account executive, and a coordination representative. Sunset assures its clients of unsurpassed service--there will always be someone available to handle their specific needs.

Our company-owned fleet features air ride suspension on every trailer to cushion their contents. Among those trailers, we have not only the industry-standard freight box and flatbed models, but also four-door "furniture-hauler"-style trailers which facilitate loading and unloading at facilities without docks or forklifts.

We also offer services that many others lack, such as blanket-wrap, security cage rentals and on-site palletization of goods. In addition, we invest in insurance that allows us to specialize in the transportation of electronics and other fragile valuables that other carriers are too often unwilling to touch.
